  • New Sound, New Hair.

Lots of new stuff in the wings: a new album, a new sound, new photos... even a new haircut!  Check out some of the new photos here and have a listen to New Moon, one of the songs from my new album, due for release in early Fall.  Thanks to Mitch and the crew at Southern Souls for the great video:

  • Ukin' in the UK

Anne is on tour in the UK this month to celebrate the UK release of her album So Long at the Fair. I'll be there, too, giving ukulele workshops, backing her up in concert and trying to keep the car on the right (or is that left?) side of the road. Click here for the full tour schedule which includes stops in London, Bristol, Southampton, Cheltenham, Oxford, Norwich, Leeds and Kettering!

  • A Good Lover

Anne and I perform "A Good Lover" from Anne's latest album So Long at the Fair.  I'd say the sound is somewhere beetween La Bottine Souriante and Paul Simon's Graceland... really fun to play!  Video by Mitch Fillion.

  • One Big Huge Warm Fuzzy Feeling

Wow... I can't say how much I appreciate the amazing outpouring of support for my new album.  Especially in an age of 'Kickstarter saturation,' I'm blown away by the support this new collection of songs has received.

I'm taking some risks with this recording (some financial, some artistic): hiring a great producer, putting my songwriting front and centre, playing a lot of baritone ukulele.  It's a big step for me and I just couldn't do it without the support I've received from my family, friends, fans and colleagues.

Thank you to all Patrons of the Arts!  We're making a great album... together!
