Song of the Week: Gold Digger
In 1994, 26-year-old model Anna Nicole Smith married 89-year-old billionaire J. Howard Marshall. I was fascinated just like everyone else. I'd never heard the term "gold digger" before. Years later I wrote this song. I'm not poking fun at either Anna Nicole or Howard. It's a sweet song that asks "what if they really were in love?"
