It's bittersweet to look back on our amazing tour of New Zealand with our friends in the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra. Have a look at some of the tour highlights here. Here's a concert review. And another! One more can't hurt, right? Big thanks to all who came out to enjoy and support the tour... we miss you already!

Also a big thank you to all who joined us in Newcastle, Melbourne and Mullumbimby, Australia! We had great fun making music for -- and with -- you all. Here's an interview recorded during the Melbourne Ukulele Festival:

Just back home from the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. I don't think of myself as a name-dropper but jamming with Stu Hamm, Muriel Anderson, Bernie Dresel, Victor Wooten and Bakithi Kumalo might be enough to turn me into one! Thanks to the folks at Kala Ukuleles for making it happen.
Getting set to play at Festival Place in Edmonton later this week, then it's off to New Zealand and Australia! Look out world!

I do a lot of teaching as I travel. A friend recently quoted Confucius who said, "he who teaches learns twice." Ain't that the truth! People sometimes ask: "don't you get tired of teaching beginners? All those simple songs must wear on your nerves." Ok, there's some truth in there but, to be honest, one of my favourite lyrics of all time is "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." I mean, seriously. "Row your boat gently down the stream. Merrily. Life is but a dream." Gah - so good.
Speaking of streams, the entire Man With a Love Song CD release concert (filmed live in Toronto last fall) will be streaming for free from the Borealis Records website on Sunday, September 2nd at 8pm (Eastern Standard Time). See you there!
